Health & Wellbeing Workshops

  • 1-day Stress, Self-Care & Mindfulness Workshop: applicable across all industries and all contexts, this workshop is an opportunity to pause, take a deep breath, relax and reflect. We seek to understand stress and its causes and manifestations across psycho, social, bio and environmental considerations. Self-care as a necessity for health and wellbeing is discussed and strategies for this explored together. Mindfulness techniques including movement are weaved through the day. The goal of this workshop is for you to leave feeling clearer including on a wellbeing plan moving forward.
  • 1-day Ayurveda and the Art of Living Workshop: this is particularly suited to Yoga Schools or other Health, Wellbeing or Therapy Centres as professional development but is open to all. We cover the core principles of a Vedic worldview, history and branches of Ayurveda and Yoga. A range of practices is covered contrasting those that raise energy and those that calm. Content is broad and is delivered from a macro perspective with translation into the micro individual level. We can look to understand together how participants may be able to incorporate Ayurvedic principles into a therapeutic professional practice if this is relevant in addition to understanding how to self-care using the Vedic framework. A key goal of this workshop is the development of a health and wellbeing Vedic personal strategy for each participant. Feel welcome to enquire.

10-Week Health & Wellbeing Courses

  • *Coming soon* Health & Wellbeing Course is designed to be suitable across diversity, the content of this course centres on 5 themes, mindfulness, expression/creativity, nutrition, movement, and lastly nature as medicine. The material includes recipes, theory, techniques and tasks to help build health and wellbeing practice in your diet and lifestyle. Goal setting is a focus in the first few weeks, followed by tips on how to maintain motivation and focus.
  • *Coming soon* Nutrition for Health & Wellbeing Course provides up to date nutritional science in an easy to understand and implement format. Macro and micro nutrition is outlined in detail across diverse need. A structure is provided over the 10 weeks to build understanding through practical experimentation towards improved health and wellbeing. We are what we eat. Recipes are included in each week for you to experiment with. This course is not solely plant based, see below.
  • *Coming soon*. The Mindful Mental Health & Wellbeing Course equips you with knowledge and skill in better understanding and interfacing with mental health mental in all parts of your life. Mental health is a concept that applies to each individual, really on a daily basis, not just those with a professional diagnosis. This course will cover breadth in understanding the lived experience in this sector. We all experience mental distress at times and this course will help you identify early signs and provide management and coping strategies. After completing this course, you will also have this leaning to share with others in a sensitive and trauma informed approach. Whilst mental health focuses on the presence or absence of mental illness and distress, mental wellbeing encompasses a broader view of positive functioning, including resilience, emotional regulation, and the ability to thrive in various life domains. This course also provides mindful tips and techniques as to how you can build mental wellbeing in part to provide a buffer for mental health.

Be Your Own Guru – Introduction to a Vedic Diet and Lifestyle Course includes a comprehensive introduction to Vedic theory, core principles of Ayurveda and Yoga, recipes and tips and techniques to help establish a daily and seasonal routine so as to balance your unique constitution. Yoga, breathing and meditation techniques are included in addition to a constitutional self-assessment. You are taken through a step-by-step process of incorporating a 5 Element Vedic lens in achieving balance and bliss in your life, ground to blossom upon. There is some overlap with the Nutrition Course and these actually work well to do together. You can purchase and do this yourself or alternatively book in for a once off Ayurvedic consult and follow with 10 x Health and Wellbeing Coaching with me. Ayurveda and Yoga are part of the Vedic system of knowledge. Ayurveda is translated as the science of life and Yoga is the inner exploration and union towards liberation that Ayurveda prepares us to undertake. This system has been practiced for 5000 years in India and is informed by a clinical perspective. The key intent of this course and the coaching if you choose in addition to the gift pack is to build your capacity to regulate and to be well.
  • The Mindful 5-Element Plant Based Nutrition Course (purchase below) will help you to understand and upgrade your relationship with food and with self, each 2-week module includes tasks and practices in addition to tips and techniques for food preparation as well as an extensive array of recipes, both raw and cooked. Techniques are super practical including for example ferments or preserving chutneys, jams etc and lots more. Practices encourage the integration of movement, breathing, meditation and stillness into your life. The intent of the course is not to convert you into veganism or to any belief system at all but instead to make it easy for you to increase the relative ratio of plants in your diet and thus improve your health and wellbeing and ultimately connection and relationship with yourself. The concept of herbs as food is explored. Nutritional benefits are outlined, in addition to the benefits for your digestive health. The content is based upon a Vedic worldview with each of the 5 elements of nature explored with opportunity to embody the essence of each element through your dietary patterns and also to some degree lifestyle. Lifestyle is more of a focus of the course below… This course is a recommended complement to the introductory course below although this is not a necessary prelude to understanding. A 5-Element Questionnaire is included here to help you understand yourself by understanding your unique relationship to the elements including across the seasons.
