About & Contact

I am a proud mother of two children, 10+ years apart, and this has been a key focus for now 20+ years. I have also remained engaged professionally, mostly full time, including in being a small business owner for over a decade. My qualifications and experience span breadth and this business is influenced by this and also by my experience in caring personally and professionally. I am a trained counsellor and mental health clinician in addition to being a nationally accredited health and wellbeing and also nutrition coach.
I believe that the human capacity for consciousness, realisation and wisdom is an infinite resource that can be tapped into with expert method and technique. Ultimately, I see that my clients are the experts, and I offer knowledge and skill towards supporting healthy sustainable growth for individuals and groups, including supporting the challenging path of growing through trauma.
I am trained across diverse method and technique with nature, creativity and mindfulness being core themes in my work including to complement more structured approaches that I use with clients such as CBT. I am strongly influenced by Jungian Psychology. I most often utilise an integration of methods, in counselling, coaching and more generally I adopt a capacity building practice also in community development and consulting work.
Collaboration and dialogue are centralised in my work with clients, and this complements the robustness of the techniques employed across all services. I have worked across culture and sectors and aim to create common ground to build understanding. I celebrate our unique individuality and honour this within my clients.
Maintaining a personal holistic wellbeing practice is a priority for me, I care for myself with a daily routine that adapts to the season. I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 25 years and ayurveda for 15 years and have taught and practiced in this field including in regional Australia. I have worked across most sectors in community service and also across demographics including with people experiencing disability sometimes within the NDIS.
I have travelled across terrain through my career which includes roles such as a sustainability academic, political economist, participatory and deliberative democracy practitioner, community development practitioner including with Australian Aboriginal communities amongst other roles and also as a policy consultant. My PhD was about power and relationships in policy. I offer a range of options in the consulting arm of my business within my breadth.
I am currently studying (part-time) a Master of Counselling & Psychopathy, a Graduate Diploma in Relationship Counselling, a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science and a Diploma in Creative Arts & Health! I have other Degrees including a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management and have interest in helping to grow psychosocial understanding of safety in our workplaces.
